I visited Laban wine bar last night with a Tipster voucher and was pleasantly surprised by how cute and cozy the space is. It has a warm, welcoming vibe and was open to everyone, including guests with a dog — which added to the relaxed, neighborhood feel. The bar was completely full, and only one person was working, which understandably slowed things down. We started with a glass of cava, but the pour was quite light, and it seemed like the portions weren’t consistent across tables. On our second round, we asked for a bit more and the waiter kindly obliged, which we appreciated. It took quite a while to receive our food, but once it arrived, it was absolutely worth the wait. Both the charcuterie and cheese boards were excellent, and the sourdough bread served with high-quality olive oil was a standout. The waiter was genuinely kind and attentive — just clearly stretched thin due to how busy it was. With an extra staff member during peak hours, this could easily be one of the best wine bar experiences in the city.
