This largest museum in Denmark is packed with things and I could easily spend a week there, if I really wanted to do all the exhibits at least some justice. The museum's primary focus is, obviously, Danish history - from the stone age to the nuclear age - but it also houses quite a few finds of international importance. Those include the Sun Chariot, the Egtved girl, the Gundestrup cauldron and the Epitaph of Seikilos. The last of these, in particular, takes a little effort to find but, by God, it contains the oldest inscription of a full musical tune in the world (dating to 1st century AD - search YouTube for a modern recording), so it's a must-see.
