Insanely good Sunday lunch at Mesen today. The best roast in Cardiff and it’s not even close. The t-bone was a revelation. Best Sunday Funday I’ve had in a long time. Faultless.

Having had a couple of excellent evening meals at mesen my wife and I took friends there for Sunday lunch this week. I can honestly say it was the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had, that view was echoed by all in our party. We ate the sharer T-Bone steak and the sharer pork chop, the meats were cooked and seasoned to perfection, the portions ample. The accompanying vegetables were delicious, as were the Yorkshire puddings that had a brioche quality to them. All underpinned by outstanding, personable and friendly service.

A stellar place with absolutely outstanding food and drinks. The hoisin salmon and the t-bone steak are out of this world, so are the cocktails. Super nice staff, excellent vibe, the perfect spot for a lush dinner.
