Great pint of brains SA,and pedigree bitter it was going down like milk. Food ok,but charge extra for cheese £1.50 and £2 for bacon on top for your burger made it expensive for what it was. Enjoy it mind.Restaurant part,very quiet for a Saturday. Nice beer garden,loved watching the chickens. We were reminded that they close at 11pm on 2 occasions and about last orders,so left earlier than we wanted really,but upon leaving the bar was still busy,we couldn’t get a seat in there as we were asked to leave our table in the restaurant at 9.15 so there could clear table and ended up the other side of the pub next to car park. We spent just under £180 on a main meal each (4) and drinks,if I was a landlord I wouldn’t throw paying customers out at 11pm,just saying,but it’s a chain pub now I suppose so rules are rules. Would go back,for the beers,fantastic pint!

Rang up on the off chance they could fit us in for Sunday lunch which they could and they put us in the snug absolutely perfect. The food was absolutely stunning, perfect roasties chicken was tender and a big portion, lamb was delicious and a perfect portion for me and the beef was also delicious (not a big enough portion for my husband though) veg was beautifully cooked and cauliflower cheese was so tasty. Gravy was amazing ❤️ only complaint was that only the beef came with Yorkshire very old school lol perfect place not far from the m4 corridor and so we will be back
