Nice pub. They had run out of my first and second option, and couldn't complete the third option without substituting some of the food on the plate. That said, the food was nice.

The sides arrive first, and they’re tasty but stingy, like the prawns were doled out with a magnifying glass. Still, we’re nibbling, hyped for the mains. Then the food parade begins. Dad’s pie and chips land—he’s grinning like he’s cracked the code to pie nirvana. My brother’s friend gets her burger and chips, looking chuffed. Mum’s half chicken struts in.
