Came to celebrate my grandfathers birthday we told our server Jess who made sure to surprise him with his dessert- we all loved this touch thank you to all involved it made him feel really special and put a smile on all our faces, Jess also helped us get some lovely family photos! Our meal made more special thanks to the little gestures, great atmosphere, delicious food & excellent service by the whole team. Would recommend if you’re looking for a special occasion or just a nice meal out

Nice local pub. Decor is stunning. Lovely dining space, a separate pub space (dog friendly, can also dine) and outdoor area. Plenty of parking. Nice list of drinks, including non alcoholic cocktails which were lovely. Kids menu. We appreciated kids pizza came with cucumber,pepper and carrot sticks. Toilets clean, spacious and well appointed. Staff were lovely and attentive. Starters seemed the most inventive food and I'd rather have eaten just those. Pie was was well received. Fish and chips was huge but sadly just average, and mushy peas needed creamier texture and more flavour. Every bit of the pizza was demolished. Would go again but would love to see the cooking elevated a touch.

We visited for a Sunday lunch which was delicious, the Yorkshires were huge the whole meal was beautifully made thanks to the chefs Bryony and Max. Our server Jess was very friendly, attentive and went above and beyond assisting my elderly grandad on his first outing in a while which made the trip less stressful and extra special, thank you so much! We can’t wait to visit again
