I went to the museum for a classic bike and car show. Not a huge affair, but friendly and more engaging for it. The museum has many buildings and themes, with spaces that are great for adults and kids alike. The restored windmill is delightful, with free guided tour and a sticker for reaching the top for my grandson. (I did too). A particularly thoughtful inclusion is a couple of stair lifts, to enable the less mobile the opportunity to view the first floor parts of the museum. Even without the vehicles on display, there is plenty to see and do for both adults and children. An afternoon thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my grandson. Thank you.

We had a great, albeit rushed, visit to the Burwell Museum and Windmill. Our highlight was definitely the historic Stevens' Mill. For just £2 extra on our museum ticket, we were able to climb this working windmill and get an up-close look at its fascinating machinery. We were a little disappointed to miss the rest of the museum, as it closed before we had a chance to explore it fully. Just a heads-up, the car park is a five-minute walk from the entrance, so you'll want to check the exact location before you go.

An absolute gem of a museum. A Must See. But only open weekends normally.
