Loam is one of those coffee shops that feels designed for slowing down. Soft acoustic music hums in the background, creating a chilled atmosphere that’s perfect for reading, writing, or simply daydreaming. The dessert cabinet makes choosing almost impossible, but the lemon meringue cheesecake won me over and it was worth it. Paired with a perfectly balanced flat white, it made for the kind of rainy afternoon in Brighton. Loam isn’t just coffee. It’s a mood.
