Wasn't sure what to expect of Indian food in a relatively small town like Bern, but the good reviews lured me in. They're deserved- the food was great. I was also struck by how good the service was. A server noticed me looking confused at my menu and somehow correctly guessed that I was looking for the drinks menu, dropping it off without my even asking for it. As soon as my rice ran low she immediately asked if I wanted it refilled, again without my asking for it. The service was otherwise unobtrusive; I never felt pestered. The place gets very busy. I got lucky as a solo walk-in on a weekday, needing to wait only a few minutes for a table to free up, but a larger group that came after me was turned away. I would recommend reservations.
