Belfast Cathedral, also known as The Cathedral Church of St. Anne, stands as a magnificent example of Romanesque Revival architecture, designed by Thomas Drew and initially opened on June 2, 1904. Its stunning design includes exquisite stained glass windows that beautifully filter the light, enhancing the cathedral's serene atmosphere. Adding a modern touch to its historical roots is the impressive Spire of Hope, reaching skywards and symbolizing the blend of past and present. The cathedral holds deep historical significance with its poignant Titanic memorial, a solemn tribute to those who perished in the tragedy. Visitors often remark on the peaceful and friendly atmosphere, supported by a welcoming and helpful staff, making it a place that is both spiritually uplifting and accessible. Though it remains uncrowded, it is certainly a worthwhile stop, reflecting both the rich history and evolving architecture of Belfast.

Belfast Cathedral has such a unique interior with The Spire of Hope. Suspended from the ceiling in the centre of the church is The Spire of Hope. It hangs in the middle of a great light shaft, looking up you can see the spire reaching to the sky 250 feet above the ground. There is a beautiful display of the pipes for the organ on the wall. The interior is bright and well lit. The front of the church opens to a large square, which gives a grand view of the church.
