I first saw a Bartels sandwich in my condo lobby while someone was eating it. It looked so good that I had to ask where he got it. A few days later, I visited the one near Terminal 21 and ordered the Bartels Club. Another person in my party ordered the chicken salad. The meal did not disappoint. The sourdough bread was fresh with a crunchy crust and a soft crumb, and the quality of the ingredients inside was top-notch. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also unique—spacious and welcoming, making me feel like I was in a California deli. If you're homesick for a good deli sandwich from the United States, this is a highly recommended place to stop by.
