I came with my family and my brother has an egg allergy because of this it’s difficult to find things for him to eat, When we walked in they said they were all out of simit the only egg free item but she offered to write that he had an egg allergy in Turkish so we could show different stores. This was the first reason it was such a good experience but as we went to leave one of the owners ran out and said they could specially make him a cheese and sausage toastie we went back in and ended up buying a few different items including baklava. Honestly I would just recommend this place because of the great service and the nice people

Bakery? Historic fish bazar? This whole section once was a fish bazar. But now a 24 hour bakery. Toastie in house made so we knew no egg present for our son. Lovely other baked goods too - we had chocolate pastry. And baklava. The bakery had been here for over 80 years and this family has run for over 40 years (brother and sister today, father before). Cousins bake the bread (they used to here).

Stopped in for lunch on our walk thru old town. Despite advertisement / pictures on the outside that said "sandwiches" they did not have any. But we tried the pastry dough rolls "filled" (barely) with meat and spinach. They were passable for what we needed. Baklava was a disappointment.
