Østre Gasværk Teater - üks Kopenhaageni suurejoonelisemaid teatrisaale Østerbro linnaosas. 1883. aastal ehitatud gaasimahuti oli hiljem Kopenhaageni raekoja projekteerinud Martin Nyropi üks esimesi iseseisvalt projekteeritud hooneid. Gaswærk suleti 1970. aastal ja oodates lammutamist kasutati hoonet mõnda aega Kuningliku teatri dekoratsioonide laona. 1979. aastal leidis Morten Grunwald, et hoone oma lihtsa ilu ja toore iseloomuga on justkui loodud ebatraditsiooniliste teatrietenduste jaoks. Näiteks Peter Brooki versioon Bizet' ooperist "Carmeni tragöödia" aastal 1983 või India eepose "Mahabharata" dramatiseering aastal 1988. Ülimenukateks osutusid Shakespeare'i "Suveöö unenägu" 1986, muusikalid "Hüljatud", "Miss Saigon" ja "Atlantis" aastatel 1992–1998. Teatri sisemus renoveeriti 2018. aastal ja nüüd tegutseb hoones Kopenhaageni teater koos Betty Nanseni teatri, Folketeatreti ja Nørrebro teatriga.

Unique architecture of the rotunda-shaped building fit the performance space perfectly. Easy to get to the Östre Gasværk building via Metro just 2 blocks away. Take M3 line to Paul Henningsens Plads.
