It’s a must visit on any trip to Copenhagen (just a 10 minute metro ride from central station. Self guided tours start every 10 minutes, but first you are greeted in a bar with small sample . You get given a wrist band , which you can collect memories on throughout the exhibition , and use it for your free pint at the end . I found the exhibition to be one of the best brewery tours I have been on (also now Heineken) . Very informative about this history of the company and the founders (and not just about brewing beer). There is things for younger children to do in places. I think even they would love the 20,000 bottles in the basement , where you can look one up on the computer then try and find it on display. The whole count yard is very charming ,it is a little bit like stepping back in time. You also have the stable and old wagons . There is also a tour you can book, this goes outside and to the NY Carlsberg which is around the corner , but you can walk to this yourself , but if you want more background information (tour guide was great) and don’t mind spending 125 kr per person then its ok, but otherwise, I wouldn’t worry about it. It wasn’t busy when I was there , so I don’t think you need to book , and if you have the Copenhagen Card it’s free.

Very good. Lots of interactive options. Intriguing visuals. Great idea to dramatize the father and son history in video walls, as it relates to the brand. Best part is the free beer at tge entrance and at the end.
