I really enjoyed the food — it was great. However, the service left a lot to be desired, as it took over 45 minutes just to receive the chicken skewers. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place itself has a nice look. That said, the wood on the ceiling appears to be rotting, which was a bit uncomfortable to notice.

We visited the Salt House for the first time today and we will definitely be back every time we visit Chester. For a start, the staff are WONDERFUL (big shout out to Kat & Kiera) they were kind, attentive, really well informed and so good about dealing with my 4 year olds allergy information. They really made him feel like a VIP not extra work. The food was reasonably priced for how great the quality was. The tapas was amongst the tastiest I've had in any restaurant here for abroad and the Sangria was 10/10 If I could give these guys more than 10 stars I would. I hope they make the success they deserve from this place
