I went to Carbonara with friends last night. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with great charm and professionalism by Julius and members of his staff. Julius, who is half Roman, had exceptional knowledge about all dishes on the menu and gave most interesting detail of where ingredients were sourced. Fish is apparently deliver fresh every morning from Fleetwood, other ingredients are locally sourced and others from Italy. The food was beautifully presented and was totally delicious. The whole experience was superb. Carbonara is a very special place. Kathleen.

Me and my partner popped here after seeing it online on a bank holiday Sunday.. we rung at 9 and they fit us in for a table for two and wow wow wow the lovely staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and polite they went above and beyond as well as taking a lovely photo of myself and my partner without us even having to ask…The atmosphere here is lovely fitting for romance a friendly catchup or a family dine. The food was delicious I opted for a vegetarian carbonara (very fitting with the name of the restaurant!) due to being a veggie and it did not disappoint it was gorgeous super creamy and full of flavour. The option to make any dish vegetarian was also available as well as a lovely drink menu full of cocktails. The restaurant gives you that authentic Romanian feel. We will definitely be returning here and recommending it to all family and friends because this is a gem
