We turned up last night without a booking. We were immediately seated outside in a lovely courtyard at the back of the restaurant. Really nice setting with only a few tables - not packed in or over crowded. Service was quick enough and staff were lovely. Food was absolutely spot on. Would definitely go back again.

We were very excited to try Blue Bell as we had heard good things and two of our party had previously been and enjoyed their experience. We arrived and waited around 5 minutes near the till to be seated. We were given menus and ordered drinks quickly before ordering our food. Drinks arrived quickly and we waited for our food. We were aware that tapas would come out as and when it was ready, but were disappointed to receive two dishes at first, and had to wait quite a while for the rest of our dishes, we had finished the other things as it took a while to arrive. We were not checked on at any time after receiving food to see if everything was ok, or if we needed any condiments etc. We were reasonably happy with the food, but felt like some dishes might have been cooked in the same fryer as the triple cooked chips tasted a little like fish (We had also ordered fish dishes). When we were asked about dessert, we thought we would enjoy the Churros but asked firstly if they were cooked in the same fryer as everything else. We waited 5 minutes for the young staff member to check, the churros were cooked in the same fryer so we decided not to have a dessert. We waited around and went to the till to ask for the bill before paying and leaving.
