The bakery has moved to inside the cafe but continues to serve the same great bread and pasties. I’ve always received great service in the bakery, and Desi is a particularly welcoming and helpful. The ancient grains bread is a real favourite. Stir also do vegan croissants and cakes which is a welcome treat. Whilst the bread isn’t cheap it’s good value (and still lower cost than sourdoughs from other bakeries).

Go there practically every week to buy fresh bread and a pastry treat. The baked goods are always great with the added bonus of friendly, helpful staff
