We stopped off here after the services were queueing. We really only wanted a sandwich but landed up having the 2 course set lunch menu. It was very good food and great value. The young waitress who served us was very bubbly and friendly. Glad we stopped off here, better than a McDonald's!

We went for the fish night and enjoyed it so much we then booked for the Sunday roast. I think a lot of people do this as it was pretty full. We are from New Zealand and were staying in the village for a couple of weeks and enjoyed the whole village experience which involved this pub.
