I love this course, however I have to say it’s looking a bit tired and not appealing on arrival right now, the club house viewing from the car park needs a lick of paint, the tee boxes look like a Sunday morning football goal mouth, the bunkers are full of stones, the fairways are so damaged with irrigation issues and ground started to cave in that it’s having an effect on your stance over the ball at least twice a round, I can see the whole attention is being focused on the greens, I get it, I see it , but it shouldn’t be at the detriment of the rest of the course, It’s looking very tired and ropey right now.. I’m staying away now for the remainder of 2025 out of principle and hopefully in 2026 it returns to its former self.

Fantastic course. Played bar hill twice and it's challenging little course that is ridiculous value for money. £25 for a round is a steal for how good this course is. Staff are friendly and the practice facilities are more than acceptable. The only reason ive put 4 stars is due to the tee boxes. It's such a shame to mark it down for this but they were all over the place. None were flat or anywhere close to flat, except one of them but I cant remember what hole it was. All in all I would 100% return to this course and happily pay £25 for a round.

Lovely course, nice bar staff, pro shop experience/ welcome a little underwhelming,.even disinterested. But hey, we all have below par days. Parking is fine but all the signs are scam parking intimidation and reg machine not near counter so easy to forget. But it is a great course and value for money
