This was a lovely place to go for a walk while visiting the area.

Delivered on its promise. A good experience.

We love this beautiful tall woodland. The paths are winding and mostly clear so the kids can explore and there are some nice open clearings where you can have a picnic. Lots of dog walkers and people out enjoying nature. Parking is in a small layby on the side of the road, can be busy and there isn't anywhere else nearby so having a backup plan is recommended. A really special place if you do get the chance to visit.
