St Giles’ Church in Cambridge is a true gem—beautiful, spacious, and full of history. The stunning architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and welcoming community make every visit memorable. Its Grade II*-listed status is well deserved, with gorgeous stained glass, intricate woodwork, and fascinating historical features dating back to the 11th century. The church is open daily, offering a calm retreat right in the city centre, and often hosts concerts, community events, and festivals

This was such a interesting church and I had the honor of speaking with a 92 year old lady and let me tell you she has it together. She was dressed beautifully and was waiting to go into mud day prayer group. I could only imagine what this chruch looked like 80 years ago when she was 12. This is what I love traveling and meeting interesting people. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing the cool places, but after speaking with her today, this reminded me why I love to.
