Beautiful old market hall. Tons of neat foods and stuff. At some point it descends into tourist junk but on the other hand it’s one of the few truly-tourist-magnet commercial spots so get your t-shirts and paprika pouches here.

A Zsolnay-tetőcserepes épület 1897-ben nyílt meg, akkoriban a közepén futó csatornán keresztül érkezett megállás nélkül a friss áru. Ma már csatorna nincs, de a friss zöldség, gyümölcs, minőségi hús, szalámi és a többi, hazai termelőtől származó termék maradt. A turisták számára a csarnok kötelező megálló, így nem meglepő, hogy szuvenírekben sem szűkölködik. Az emeleten büfék sora kínálja illatozó hungarikumait.
