Lors de notre séjour à Budapest, nous avons découvert ce restaurant un peu par hasard : un verre y était offert avec l’entrée des thermes. Nous y sommes donc allés en taxi — le trajet est rapide. Le lieu est vraiment atypique, installé dans une cave voûtée joliment décorée et très chaleureuse. En plus du verre offert, nous avons goûté un excellent borch et une assiette généreuse de charcuterie et fromages locaux. Mention spéciale pour le vin blanc hongrois, une belle surprise ! Une adresse conviviale et typique, parfaite pour prolonger la découverte de la ville après les bains.

Went because it offered a free tasting with the Budapest card. Oh my God, it was so good. 3 large glasses of delicious wine (white, rosé and red), 2 very tasty cheeses and the best ever smoky salami. It was so good and so generous, we thought it would be a shame to leave having just had the freebies. We stayed for dinner. Probably the best food we had in Budapest (we only ate at Hungarian restaurants and they were all exceptional). It's in a beautiful setting in a celler, was once a museum so had lots of interesting 'exhibits' and lots of information on Hungarian food and traditions. Highly recommended 👌 and well worth a visit. I'd give 10 🌟 if I could.
