Red Ruin is often called a "Hungarian innovation" because it was the first place to use Soviet symbols and turn them into a brand known by every resident of the capital. The interior is literally drowning in red, with walls made of bricks and complemented by ideological illustrations on civil duty with caricature additions. The bar is divided into a basement area and a ground floor. Here they serve national Hungarian dishes, have their own wine list, and a wide selection of beers.

This bar is not a ruin bar. It is funnily communist themed, but nothing great. And the bartender is absolutely not interested in serving people or being nice, even if his bar is empty !
