Faust's wine cellar is tucked away from prying eyes in the basement of the Hilton hotel, without even a sign to indicate its presence. To gain entry, one simply needs to approach the hotel staff, who are always happy to escort new visitors to the treasure trove of this magical beverage.

Once belonging to monks, the wine cellar has left behind a rich heritage. The tasting area is quite small, so it caters to small groups of true connoisseurs and admirers of wine. The ancient stone walls, wrought iron gates with unique designs, and low ceilings perfectly complement the special "wine programs," during which guests can savor any variety of the drink.

Enjoyed a tasting of unique Hungarian wines, paired with chocolate and chutney. Everything was simply amazing. Our host Gabor was attentive and witty, sharing the story of each wine. The location was unique, and the wine selection one of a kind. Absolutely a must.

Must visit for anyone serious about wine. Had a dry Tokaji from 1972 which smelled like aged palo cortado sherry... dried caramel apples, salted, roasted almonds, chamomile tea. Sooo good

Gáboron látszik, hogy a munkája egyben a hobbija is. Sok érdekességet tudtunk meg a kóstolt borokról. Miután jeleztem, hogy gluténérzékeny vagyok, biztosított nekem mentes zsemlét is a kóstolóhoz és a csatnikhoz, a csokoládék is mennyeik voltak. Maga a helyszín rendkívül autentikus, igazi borospince hangulatú, félhomállyal és gyertyafénnyel. Eddigi legélvezetesebb borkóstolónk volt. Köszönjük az élményt.
