Der Hauptstadtflughafen ein sehr gut strukturierter Flughafen. Vom Check-in (auch das Self-Check-in), sowie das Aufgeben des Gepäcks (self baggage drop off) bis hin zur Sicherheitskontrolle, verlief alles reibungslos und flott. Im Sicherheitsbereich lässt es sich gut verweilen. Etliche Shops wie Duty- and Taxfree, Souvenir Shops, Bekleidung, Kosmetika, mobile Elektronik sowie etliche Buchläden laden zum Bummeln ein. Der Food-Court lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ob Fastfood oder gut bürgerliches, ungarisches…. In dieser Genuss-Oase ist für jedermann was dabei! Es gibt genügend Wasserspender um seine leeren Flaschen kostenfrei zu füllen! - Ein tolles Angebot! Zahlreiche Wechselstuben sind auch im Sicherheitsbereich zu finden. Wer noch kurz vor Abflug wichtige Telefonate, oder in Ruhe am Laptop arbeiten muss, der kann in einer der Ruhekabinen (silent booth) Platz nehmen. Der Flughafen ist sehr sauber. Auch die Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Es gibt einen Raucherbereich. Dieser ist an einem der beiden Enden des Food-Curts zu finden.
