2025 Cafes

Delirium Café, named after the famous beer, has become a kind of Mecca for hop and malt enthusiasts. Beneath the roof of an ancient building, hundreds of visitors are served daily, deciding to explore the philosophy of "moderate drinking" and to taste Belgium firsthand.

It's hard to believe, but Delirium offers its clients more than two thousand beer varieties. The establishment has been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the café with the most astonishing selection, unmatched by any competitor. Delirium doesn't have waiters, but it boasts several thematic halls. The basement room deserves special attention, with its ceiling decorated by hundreds of beer caps and corks.

If you're in Brussels, Delirium Pub is an absolute must-visit. I spent five days in the city and ended up going there three times, that's how good it is. This place is legendary, especially among tourists, but locals love it too. Whether you're looking for a spot during the day or a place to hang out at night, Delirium is always buzzing. One thing to note: they don’t serve food, so make sure you eat beforehand. But when it comes to drinks, it's paradise. They offer hundreds of beers, from sweet and light to strong and bold, every flavor you can imagine. For beer lovers, the beer meter is a must-try: 10 little different beers for €30. The vibe is amazing. Inside, the music is upbeat, but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation. The space itself is massive: think three floors including a terrace, and what feels like a labyrinth of rooms. You can easily find a quiet corner with your group, or walk around and meet people. I had a night where I ended up talking with over a dozen different people, it’s that social and welcoming. It’s self-service, so you’ll have to order your drinks directly at the bar. But the staff is quick, and the system works well even when it’s crowded. Sometimes on the upper floor, they dim the lights and crank up the music for a few minutes to create a mini dance break. It's unexpected and adds to the playful, dynamic energy of the place. And if you're there with someone special, don’t miss the little photo booth: €3 gets you two pictures, one for each of you, a fun and unique souvenir. In short: Delirium is more than a bar, it's an experience. Whether you're beer-curious or a seasoned connoisseur, whether you want to relax or mingle, it’s the kind of place you’ll remember long after your trip.
