The establishment is located a hundred meters from the old theater and market square, making it easy for even tourists unfamiliar with the city to find.

The Pieter Pourbus restaurant building is painted in stark white, through which the textured surface of the ancient brickwork is visible. The interior design does not deviate from the traditional Belgian decor, featuring two fireplaces and low, overhanging ceilings. Joli restaurant, tres chic mais cher pour ce que s'est ! Le tataki de thon était très bon et les gambas aussi MAIS sole avec trop de beurre...du coup, indigestion en suivant et malade le lendemain.

We had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was like being at a friendly pub but with a more elegant menu. The people working (maybe owners?) were super inviting. Our food was fresh, well prepared and presented, and it was delicious. Pieter Pourbus would be pleased!
