If there's anywhere in Bruges to "lay low" just like the characters in the namesake movie, it's definitely Le Trappiste bar. Beneath its stone brick vaults, every visitor feels secure, as if hidden from prying eyes and sometimes unwanted attention.

In the bar, there are more than twenty types of draft beer, poured from special taps on barrels. Moreover, there is an impressive selection of bottled beverages at very reasonable prices. For snacks, traditional platters of sliced sausages and cheese are served, the varieties of which can be chosen in advance. If a competitive spirit unexpectedly awakens, you can always engage in a game of darts.

Не смотря на минусы я не могу этому блестящему месту поставить оценку ниже 5. Да, немного душно (ибо в подвале), да KWAK наливают в обычный стакан (что для меня является предательством традиций), но все остальное вызывает восхищение и хочется вернуться снова! Кстати, пивной дегустационный сет из 5 разных пив можно заказать только до 19:00. И кухня в 20:00 уже не работала!

Lugar con esencia. Variedad de cervezas y buena música. El único 'pero' es la cantidad de cerveza en relación al precio. Merece la pena echar una ronda pero dos tal vez no. Grifo de cerveza Roquefort muy buena
