Even in a large tourist city, there are spots geared exclusively towards the locals: here, they don't expect a flood of tourists, massive orders, or constant hustle - just enjoyment and comfort.

The Hackethals restaurant is located quite close to the center, in one of the alleys of the Mitte district, which the Germans themselves have dubbed: the residential quarter. Here, they serve only quality, time-tested German dishes and local craft beer, with a menu solely in German, staffed by just one waitress and the owner of the establishment.

So, if you want to be a bit cunning and bypass all the noisiest places in Berlin by taking the road less traveled, then take a little stroll to Hackethals, where the owner of the restaurant himself will help you navigate the menu, and, who knows, he might treat you to a schnapps for dessert...

Great little café! Cozy place with a nice vibe. The coffee was excellent and the pastries were fresh and tasty. A perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. Would definitely come back!

Ein toller Laden, den ich immer wieder sehr gerne besuche! Besonders möchte ich die Service-Orientierung der Inhaber hervorheben, die diesen Ort so besonders machen. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker und das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön! Der einzige Wermutstropfen: die Preise machen einen Besuch zn etwas Besonderem und es ist für mich zu teuer, um zur regelmäßigen Nachbarschaftslokalität zu werden. Aber, es ist ja meine Entscheidung, ob ich wiederkomme oder nicht - und ich komme sehr gerne wieder.
