You might think it's unsuitable to write about small snack bars located right by the road on the sidewalk - but believe me, it's worth it! Mustafa's Gemuese Kebab is a tiny food court smack in the middle of a pedestrian zone, serving what's called the "Best Kebab in Town" - according to both tourists and residents of Berlin.

The fact of the matter is that one shouldn't even doubt the credibility of such high popularity of, what seems to be, an ordinary Middle Eastern "grab and go" eatery: walking by, one can see a line of 10-25 people waiting for their portion. Yes, as much as one might dislike waiting - as the saying goes, the chef doesn't have ten hands. However, you will be rewarded with very low prices, far different from the average cafe. A stroll around the city and a light lunch - it's a fantastic combination for any hot summer day.

When it comes to Berlin kebabs, Mustafa’s is the name that pops into everyone’s head. I’d heard the hype for ages but never felt the urge to go out of my way for it. One weekday morning, I happened to be in Mehringdamm, noticed there was no line (a miracle!), and emptied my wallet of every last bit of cash to give it a try. As always, my small mouth made eating it a challenge—it took me twice as long as everyone else, so I ended up on the street, awkwardly but determinedly trying to finish it.. The kebab is packed with veggies and the meat is tasty. Still, with so many other great kebab spots in Berlin, I’m not entirely sure why this one is the legend. Honestly, I wouldn’t say it’s worth standing in line for hours. If you’re in Mehringdamm already, it’s worth a try. But making a special pilgrimage just for this kebab? I have my doubts.

晚餐時間直接排一個小時，非常值得排隊，因為真的很好吃，本來看別人拿到餐點覺得超大，想要兩個人吃一份就好，幸好之後點了兩份！這是我在德國吃到調味非常適中的食物，蔬菜跟肉都非常多，搭配脆脆的麵包跟醬料真的超好吃👍
