The place is gorgeous and the afternoon tea was great. What sent it over the edge was the staff - everyone was so kind and they easily substituted some items for me, and sent me home with a free birthday cake when they found out it was for my birthday. They also kept the pastries I had leftover in the fridge for me while I want to the spa. A great place for a special occasion!

I enjoyed the food here, although one of our party was disappointed at the portion sizes, price was reasonable (for this sort of food). Service was excellent throughout, seemed fairly quiet with not many other diners (Sunday evening). Feels like you are eating in the hotel lounge area though as you are basically just in the lobby area, and an open door by our table didn't make it feel very special.
