About

Opened in 1990, The Shires Shopping Centre in Bath offers a welcoming and bright environment that balances shopping convenience with a touch of local culture. With an excellent parking facility, including both paid options and free parking for the first hour, it ensures a stress-free start to your shopping experience. The centre is clean and inviting, featuring easy access to the town centre, Asda, and a variety of other shops, although some visitors feel the shop selection could be improved.

A standout feature is the inviting Boswells cafe, known for its friendly and polite staff, providing a perfect spot to relax. Visitors can also enjoy access to the Trowbridge museum, adding an educational twist to their visit. While the carpark layout may appear confusing initially, the overall experience remains positive, making The Shires a reliable destination for both shopping and leisure activities.

Very basic, but has a few good shops. Full of locals which is actually nice …needs tidying up and some investment.

Good selection of shops and even a few good charity shops. Particularly good are the pound shop, the works, Holland and barrett and the jewellers near the entrance. Always kept clean and also warm and dry for the shopping. Unfortunately the pound shop has gone and we now have another charity shop. I do hope this place will not turn onto the Shires charity shop mall!
