Auch 14 Jahre nach der Verfilmung von „Hangover II“ ist diese Location und der Film immer noch präsent und ein Muss für Fans des Films. Nach der Ankunft wird man sehr nett begrüßt und regulär in eine Champagner Bar geführt…dies konnten wir aber ohne Probleme dankend ablehnen und wurden wunschgemäß direkt in die SkyBar geführt. Dort wurden wir höflichst empfangen und uns wurde die Karte serviert. Die Preise sind natürlich sehr hoch, aber der einmalige, atemberaubende Ausblick und die Szenerie der Filmszenen entschädigen dafür. Außerdem bekamen wir für den Preis wirklich herausragenden und freundlichen Service geboten - dem Niveau absolut entsprechend. Für uns war es ein wunderbares Erlebnis.

The Sky Bar in Bangkok offers an incredible panoramic view of the entire city, with the iconic golden Dome right in front of you. Walking down the grand staircase to the bar feels cinematic. It’s a must-visit experience at least once, especially at sunset when the ambiance is truly unique. However, the prices are outrageously high. Expect to pay five times the usual Bangkok rate for cocktails that are of average quality, comparable to Parisian palace prices, but without the finesse. In short: overpriced drinks, but the view and sunset ambiance make it worth going once.
