About

This is one of the most famous retail chains in the Netherlands, where you can buy everything from souvenirs and small, but useful items, to clothing and wallpaper. The first store of its kind opened at the beginning of the last century and subsequently expanded into quite a large chain. Initially, various small items were sold here at a fixed price, but due to the significantly expanded product range, this policy had to be abandoned. Nowadays, stores of this chain can be found not only in the Netherlands but also in Belgium and Luxembourg. In 2010, the chain opened its milestone five hundredth store. In addition to shopping, it's a good place to grab a quick bite or have breakfast: for example, coffee and a sandwich will only set you back one euro.

Een hele vriendelijke winkel! Ze denken met je mee! Ik had 2 jaar geleden een herseninfarct en kon niet goed praten. Hema personeel waren altijd vriendelijk en geduldig!! Ging daar graag heen!
